CAMERASHOT PREP PLANNING
we want the audience to feel excited about this short movie and we want different emotion and questions running through their mind such as fear, and asking the question what is going to happen?
we want the audience to know nothing about it so that it all hits them by surprise meaning the movie would be even much more better.
we want the audience to have the following big questions:
This photo is also taken from a high angle which is a similar type to the photo however it is a different location and the foot is not bare.
this can link to the film to show the difference between the main characters bipolar, and they are very disturbed. however the angle could be used for dragging a dead body.

we want the audience to have the following big questions:
- why is the mental person so disturbed?
- what has the location been abdonned?
This picture is take from a high angle and we like how we were able to make it very similar to the actually photo.
This can link to our film by making the audience ask questions about what is going on in this scene.

This photo is from a point of view side titled angle and is of good quality, however it could be more unique by focusing in on the car and making the background unfocused.
this could link our film with a scene that has the other characters coming out of a car, stopping at the abdonned hospital.

Title Sequence Comparison
Differences
Se7en:
Se7en:
- Lighting is dim throughout
- White writing-stands out
- Writing glitches-nerve wrecking feel
- Story is shown throughout with specific actions (mugshots, cutting of film)
- Music from beginning to end
- Music fades out
- Physical action
Hard Candy
- Bright white background with occasional red boxes
- Black writing-contrasting
- No physical action
- Music is not from the beginning to end
- Music is a sudden stop
- No story is shared throughout
More effective for thriller genre:
Se7en is more effective for a thriller genre as the features such a dim lighting give a sense of mystery and suspicion to the film. The fragmented titles provide and uneasy feel for the viewer, which do not represent a happy sense. The story told in the background reflects a violent, horrific storyline which adds to the thriller genre, along with this the music that accompanies the sequence is nerve wrecking and dark to create a tense atmosphere.
