This is similar to the style of corridor we will use when filming our opening sequence. We are filming in a place like this because we think filming in a normal house would be more effective than something more often used in the horror genre; such as an old abandoned house. we think that if we use a normal house the audience will be able to relate and engage with the characters and story more; hopefully making it more frightening for them. 

Also having a corridor to film in, allows us to make more creative moments, such as: the ghost walking across the end of the corridor or a POV shot up the corridor slowly moving towards the end.
