This fits our sub genre giving the audience a sense of
mystery and suspense. This helps the narrative to try understanding the opening
sequence; it also provides the viewers to follow what is going on during the
film. This shot is very creative because the display of his facial expressions
show confusion and anxiety which can reflect onto the audience as well.
This
shows our sub-genre to the audience because it is giving a sense of confusion
and investigation because as the audience we always tend to follow the story of
the main character or victim. This helps the opening sequence because it
follows the correct narrative theory meaning that it will keep the reader every
time. This shot is very creative because it’s in a dark room with a flash light
which centres on him, keeping the viewers interested.
This
is another shot which shows our sub-genre through tension and emotion, this
shot shows the characters face and fire which can resemble a lot of things, for
example it could mean that he is burning up inside with whatever he is going
through. This shot is creative because it is able to capture so much in one,
the fire is the main object in this photo but the location background is hard
to go unmissed because of its suspicious features.
This
shot also shows our sub-genre because it’s shot in an a empty place with a
projection and a look of surprise on his face shows that he is looking shocked
or stunned meaning that something might of scared him. This helps the narrative
because of its distinctive setting. This shot is very creative because of the
imagery which is displayed on the projector and the room he is in.
